New Dawn Secondary School
Summary:
“Every New year has new things”. This year 2025 New Dawn Secondary school has got New
Students who have come from various places of Tanzania coming to receive ordinary secondary level of four years.
In every year on January in New Dawn Secondary School we receive new students. This year we have received thirty-seven form one students from various regions around Tanzania. This year we reached other regions such as Kahama and Dodoma to give a chance for disadvantaged orphans who will be in our school to get secondary education.
The form one students are happy to see, join and be at New Dawn Secondary School because they were warmly welcomed with the other students, workers and teachers. The new students have already received the exercise books and the other basic requirements in order to start orientation. Form one students are thankful and happy to get the new family members at New Dawn Secondary School. We thank GOD that we have received our new family members who have already started to show up their talents in various areas like sports as this weekend they played a football match against form two and our New Form one class won by six goals. The class is charming and energetic and we do believe that with the help of God they are going to do great.

New Dawn Communities Evening of Prayer
On Monday January 20th at Cornerstone Community Church in San Clemente we met to pray for our State, Country and the New Dawn Community ministry. Over 20 supporters attended including members of the NDC Board of Directors, volunteer staff members and ministry supporters.
Executive Director, Ron Sukut led the evening with an opening prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. The group prayed for the Presidential Inauguration and our Government, for Martin Luther King Day of unity and Equality for all and for the Los Angeles Wildfire Victims and First Responder’s.
The prayer request focus then shifted to the New Dawn Communities:
- For the New Board of Directors, wisdom, efficiency, unity and inspiration.
- For the volunteer staff, strength, endurance, inspiration and enthusiasm.
- For the indigenous Leadership in both Kenya and Tanzania
- For the Form 4 Graduates that doors would open and favor be granted in their next opportunities.
- For the Form 1 students, enthusiasm and a smooth assimilation into their new life experience.
- For provisions and expanded partnerships for the New Dawn Community ministry.
Prayer was continued with a focus on the current ministry needs:
- A tractor for the farming project
- A bus for the student’s transportation to other school districts
- For provisions to be raised for adding Form 5 & 6 advance secondary classes
- Blessings to our current partners and supporters
- Provisions to fulfill and grow the mission to “serve widows and orphans in their distress”
“religion that is pure and undefiled before GOD and the Father is this, To visit the orphan and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world”
